Peaky Blinders fans, brace yourselves! Tommy Shelby, the sharp-suited razor-wielding gangster from Birmingham, is back. And this time, he’s taking over the big screen. Netflix dropped a brand-new teaser for ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ on Christmas Eve giving fans their first taste of the film that follows the legendary six-season TV run.
And let’s just say… it looks explosive.

A deep, mysterious voice asks, “Whatever happened to Tommy Shelby?” And suddenly, the screen bursts into a whirlwind of violent, bloody, suspenseful images.

Phones ring. Guns fire. Photos burn. A coin spins. A massive building explodes. And in the middle of it all, Shelby says, “I’m not that man anymore.”’ But the world (and the trailer) isn’t letting him off that easy.
Another voice demands, “You gotta come back.” And just like that, Tommy’s back in action, slamming his hands on the table and setting the stage for chaos.
Fans will recognise familiar Peaky Blinders vibes: a red scarf over a headstone, a spinning pocket watch, flashes of violence, and a glimpse of Barry Keoghan, hinting at the new faces joining the saga.
The film takes place in Birmingham during World War II, a city on edge and a world at war. Shelby, forced out of the self-imposed exile he chose at the end of season six, faces his toughest challenge yet.
With family and country both hanging in the balance, he must confront not just his enemies, but his own demons.
Cillian Murphy, who gave Tommy Shelby a chillingly perfect ending in the series finale, admitted that returning to the role was hard to resist.
Speaking with Netflix’s Tudum, Murphy said, “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”
Netflix has confirmed that Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will hit theaters first for a two-week special release on March 6 before streaming globally on March 20.
That means fans will get to see Tommy Shelby’s next chapter on the big screen before cozying up for the Netflix premiere.
