The makers of the upcoming film, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, are leaving no stones unturned to attract the attention of the audience as they are releasing new motion posters almost every day. They started the trend right after the logo of the film was released.

On Thursday, the makers of the film revealed the antagonist, ‘John Clive’, played by British actor Lloyd Owen. Yash Raj Films shared the motion poster and tweeted, “Cruel and merciless. Presenting #JohnClive.”

The motion poster showcases British actor Lloyd Owen as John Clive with an army in the backdrop ready to strike.

Actor Aamir Khan, who also plays a vital role in the film, shared the new motion poster introducing the character of Clive.

The actor tweeted, “John Clive..not to be confused with Robert Clive..as you can see he is one of the most gentle and kind souls. Loving, caring non violent, and generous. My idol!

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel, ‘Confessions of a Thug’.
