Game Over official trailer is out. After Manmarziyaan and Saand Ki Aankh, Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu are bringing their third collaboration on screen in the form of Game Over.

Apart from Hindi, the film will also release in Tamil and Telugu. Earlier in the week, the makers had launched the gripping teaser that had no dialogues but a chilling soundtrack that set the mood and tone of the film.

In the trailer, Taapsee who plays a wheelchair-bound video game creator is trying to run away from something or even as people in the film suggest, herself. She is also defending herself and her house from some mysterious entity that is responsible for murdering women around the city.

A psychological thriller written and directed by Ashwin Saravanan marks Taapsee’s return to Tamil cinema after a brief hiatus of three years.

Taapsee shared the film’s trailer on her Twitter handle. She posted: “Here’s the trailer of this game …Player 1 shall join you in theatres on 14th June #GameOver.”

Southern film industry superstars Dhanush and Rana Daggubati presented the trailer in the regional film industries they work in, Tamil and Telugu, respectively.

In a press note put out on social media on 10 May, Kashyap had said, “I am very kicked about presenting this game-changing film in Hindi. This film proves yet again that the quality of filmmaking from the south is just outstanding and it’s great to see how Ashwin Saravanan has pushed the boundaries and has made a genre-bending film, something that we all have never seen before.”

Game Over is slated to release on 14th June 2019.
