Indian cinema just suffered an enormous loss as Sridevi passed away at 54. The actress, went away to attend a family function in Dubai where she suffered a cardiac arrest.

Sanjay Kapoor Sridevi’s brother-in-law confirmed the news of her death, he told IANS: “Yes, it is true.”

Sridevi was in Dubai along with Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor to attend the wedding of actress Sonam Kapoor’s cousin Mohit Marwah. The B-Town celebrities have been posting condolence messages ever since the news broke. Here is how Bollywood reacted to the death of Sridevi.

Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Shocked beyond words to hear about the sad and untimely demise of #Sridevi. A dream for many had the good fortune of sharing screen space with her long ago and witnessed her continued grace over the years. Thoughts and prayers with the family. RIP”
