With Ravi Teja leading the show and actors like Sree Leela, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, and Naresh joining the cast, the film is clearly made for the front-row audience. Even the songs of ‘Mass Jathara’ are trending all over, with people searching them on platforms like YouTube, Naa Songs, and more.
Strong start in advance bookings
According to box office analyst Sacnilk, ‘Mass Jathara’ has collected around ₹18.42 lakh in advance sales for Day 1 across India so far, with more than 14,100 tickets already sold. The bookings are still growing by the hour.
If we include the “block seats”, those seats held back by theatres that will open later, the number jumps to a big ₹81.49 lakh.
The Telugu belt is naturally leading the charge. In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, fans are eagerly locking their seats to watch Ravi Teja in another mass avatar. Over 700 shows have been locked for Day 1 already and that number will rise as film releases approach.
State-wise picture: Andhra & Telangana dominate
Here’s a simplified look at how bookings are moving in key regions:
Telangana: ₹55.59 lakh with block seats, around 6% real occupancy so far. 306 shows. Hyderabad fans are clearly warming up for a grand release.
Andhra Pradesh: ₹20.1 lakh including block seats, about 5% occupancy. 209 shows. Smaller centres are expected to pick up by evening show bookings.
Tamil Nadu: ₹1.2 lakh with block seats. 8% occupancy, 17 shows. Decent start for a Telugu mass film.
Karnataka: ₹3.29 lakh with block seats. Bookings slower for now, but Bengaluru always picks up closer to the weekend.
Other states: Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, Andaman & Nicobar, and UP have small numbers but show pockets of interest especially in Telugu-speaking clusters.
Films driven by mass action and star charisma often see a huge walk-in audience on release day, and ‘Mass Jathara’ is expected to follow the same trend.
Ravi Teja has always enjoyed a loyal theatre crowd in Telugu states. His recent films had mixed responses, but advance bookings for ‘Mass Jathara’ show that fans are ready to cheer their favourite ‘Mass Maharaja’ again.
