Malayalam cinema legend Mammootty is back in action. After taking a short break, the superstar has returned to the film sets, looking healthy and full of energy.
The actor shared the happy news with fans through Instagram. In the photo, Mammootty stood next to his car, dressed in a bright orange shirt, white trousers and black shoes. Smiling and relaxed, he looked every bit ready to get back to his passion.

Along with the photo, he wrote a heartfelt note: “Back to doing what I love most in life after a short break. Words aren’t enough to thank everyone who checked on me during my absence. The camera is calling.”

Film producer Anto Joseph also shared an emotional note on Instagram, giving more details about the actor’s schedule.
“Dear Mammookka is coming… to continue acting in the movie directed by Mahesh Narayanan from October 1st. It was just a short break. The prayers and support of people from all over the world gave him strength. Now, he will be part of the Hyderabad schedule. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood by him,” he wrote.
The note comes after reports suggested that Mammootty was facing some health-related issues. His latest appearance, however, has put all those worries to rest.
What makes his comeback even more exciting is the project itself. Mammootty will be sharing screen space with another Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal. The two icons are reuniting after a long gap. Adding more star power, actress Nayanthara is also part of the cast.
Earlier this year, Anto Joseph Film Company had confirmed Nayanthara’s involvement, with photos of her joining the shoot.
