For those keeping track, the team recently wrapped the second shooting schedule in Ooty, where the excitement grew further with the announcement that actress Anjali would be joining the project.
The film’s journey began earlier this year, with shooting starting on August 1 in Chennai, marking Vishal’s 35th film. Produced by veteran filmmaker R. B. Choudhary under the Super Good Films banner, the movie had its grand launch in July, celebrated with a traditional pooja.
‘Magudam’ also holds a special milestone as the 99th film for Super Good Films.
The film also brings together an impressive technical crew. Director Ravi Arasu is teaming up with Vishal for the first time, while cinematographer Richard M. Nathan reunites with the actor following their hit film ‘Madha Gaja Raja’. Music fans will be thrilled as the Mark Antony duo, Vishal and G.V. Prakash Kumar, collaborate again, with Prakash composing the soundtrack.
On the acting front, Vishal is joined by Dushara Vijayan and Anjali as the female leads, while Thambi Ramaiah and Arjai round out the supporting cast.
