Actor Gulshan Devaiah is all ready to enter Telugu cinema for the very first time, and his debut will be alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in her upcoming film ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’. The film is being made under Samantha’s own production banner Tralala Moving Pictures.
Gulshan Devaiah is slowly becoming one of the most interesting actors in Indian entertainment today. After winning praise for his work in Kannada hit ‘Kantara’, and while getting ready for his Tamil web series ‘Legacy’ with R Madhavan, Gulshan has now stepped into Telugu cinema. This new journey, he says, feels like a dream coming true.

A few days ago, the film’s official mahurat ceremony took place. Gulshan also posted a few behind-the-scenes photos from the ceremony on his social media. Fans were quick to react with excitement especially seeing him begin his Telugu journey with such a big star and a woman-led production.
Even though fans are eager to know all the details, Gulshan is keeping things secret for now. He admitted that the role is challenging and very demanding. He is putting in full effort to prepare for it properly. With a smile, he added that he hopes he does justice to the role and does not “mess it up.”
Gulshan has always been popular for choosing bold and different roles. Many may remember him from films like ‘Shaitan’, ‘Hate Story’, and ‘Hunterrr’, where he played characters that stayed in people’s minds. Over the years, his web series work has also earned him a strong fan base. Shows like ‘Afsos’, ‘Duranga’, ‘Dahaad’, ‘Guns & Gulaabs’, ‘Bad Cop’ proved that he can shine in any format.
Before stepping into his Telugu debut, Gulshan last appeared in the web series ‘Perfect Family’, which released on November 27 on the Jar Series YouTube channel. The series is directorial of Sachin Pathak and features a strong cast including Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Girija Oak, and Neha Dhupia.
‘Perfect Family’ is a light-hearted but meaningful show that talks about the social stigma around therapy in India. It follows a family that believes it is “perfect” until a situation involving their young daughter forces them to attend family therapy.
