Megastar Chiranjeevi turned a year older on August 22, and as always, his birthday has become a celebration for fans across the world. This year, however, the star decided to give his admirers a gift of his own, fresh updates on his most ambitious film yet, ‘Vishwambhara’.
Directed by Vassishta and produced by UV Creations on a massive scale, ‘Vishwambhara’ is described as a socio-fantasy drama filled with magic, adventure, and heart. The project has already created a huge buzz. And now, Chiranjeevi himself has cleared the air on why it is taking longer than expected.

“The narrative flows like a Chandamama tale,” he said, referring to the popular children’s magazine filled with fantasy stories. “It will connect with kids and also bring out the child in every adult.”
Chiranjeevi shared that fans would not have to wait too long for a sneak peek. A special glimpse of the movie was set to release on August 22 at 6:06 PM, just before his birthday festivities. “I am confident it will impress you all,” he promised with his trademark smile.
But the biggest announcement came next, the release window. Chiranjeevi confirmed that ‘Vishwambhara’ will hit theaters in the summer of 2026.
“This film is made for everyone,” he said. “What better time than summer to experience it on the big screen? That is my promise to you all.”
The shoot for ‘Vishwambhara’ has already completed, with the final schedule ending on a grand note; a mass dance number featuring Chiranjeevi and Mouni Roy.
While the film’s overall music score is being crafted by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, the energetic track was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
Abhishek Agarwal Arts has come on board to present the film in Hindi.
Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead, while Ashika Ranganath and Kunal Kapoor have important roles. Mouni Roy appears in a special song. Behind the camera, the film brings together some of the finest technicians in the industry. Chota K Naidu joins as cinematographer and AS Prakash as production designer.
Producers Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod are mounting the movie under UV Creations. Publicity is being handled by Vamsi-Shekar, with marketing support from First Show.
From "directionless fury" to Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan once stood at a crossroads where a gun felt like the only answer. At 17, it was Chiranjeevi's quiet plea pulled him back from the edge.
Singer Chinmayi Sripaada has spoken out after Chiranjeevi’s remarks on casting couch culture, calling it widespread in the film industry. She shared disturbing instances of harassment and reflected on the MeToo movement and her own experience.
‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara is all set to hit theatres, but fans won’t be able to post ratings or reviews on BookMyShow. The move comes after a court order to prevent online rating manipulation.
