Actor Sidharth Malhotra will turn author in his upcoming film Ittefaq, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna, and will raise the intensity in the film with different shades of grey.
Sidharth, who will be seen in the rebooted version of the original film Ittefaq (1969), is leaving no stone unturned for the justification of his character in Abhay Chopra’s directorial debut.

The makers of the film have decided to keep the actors away from the media as they don’t want to give any spoilers for their upcoming film which promises to be one of the best thrillers in recent years.

“The film has been produced at a very reasonable cost, which has been recovered via the OTT platforms, music and satellite deals. Its global release will be aggressive yet controlled to ensure that it reaches everyone without overloading cinemas,“ Gaurav Verma, Chief Revenue Officer of Red Chilies Entertainment, said.
“Ittefaq will keep the audience glued to the edge of their seats. It has been modernised keeping today’s sensibilities in mind, blending entertainment with a strong story,“ a source close to the filmmakers said.
Ittefaq is all set for a worldwide release on November 3.
