Shehnaaz Gill rocks Jamaican style in new collab with Honey Singh

Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill is grabbing attention once again, this time with a bold new look and a fun collaboration. She recently shot a promotional song with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh for their upcoming Punjabi film ‘Ikk Kudi’. The song has a cool Jamaican vibe.

Shehnaaz shared pictures from the shoot on Instagram, showing her in a unique outfit and hairstyle. She wore a striking orange-and-black dress, knee-high boots, and sported cornrows; a hairstyle popular in Jamaican culture.

One of the photos shows Shehnaaz Gill sitting on a bench, laughing with Honey Singh. She captioned her post, “@yoyohoneysingh’s humour is so desi,” showing the fun and easy bond between the two.

Honey Singh also posted a picture of Shehnaaz from the shoot and wrote, “We made this jatti look Jamaican. Promotional song for movie ‘Ekk Kudi’ @shehnaazgill.”

The film ‘Ikk Kudi’ is extra special for Shehnaaz, as she’s not just acting in it, she’s also producing the movie. It’s being directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, who is known for his work in Punjabi cinema.

Shehnaaz last appeared in the film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, where she made a guest appearance in the song “Sajna Ve Sajna” alongside Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.

Many know Shehnaaz from her breakthrough role in ‘Bigg Boss 13’, where she won hearts with her bubbly personality. Her close bond with the late actor and winner Sidharth Shukla made them a beloved on-screen pair, often called “SidNaaz” by fans.

But Shehnaaz’s journey began much before ‘Bigg Boss’. She stepped into the limelight in 2015 with her first music video, ‘Shiv Di Kitaab’. In 2017, she made her acting debut in the Punjabi movie ‘Sat Shri Akaal England’.

Since then, she has acted in several popular films including ‘Kala Shah Kala’, ‘Daaka’, ‘Honsla Rakh’, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, and ‘Thank You For Coming’.

Shehnaaz is also well known for her music videos, having appeared in a long list of songs like ‘Shona Shona’, ‘Habit’, ‘Je Haan Ni Karni’, and ‘Gedi Route’.
