After a seven-year hiatus, Shakira is gearing up for a triumphant return with her highly anticipated album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” set to drop on March 22nd. The Colombian superstar has pulled out all the stops for this record, enlisting an array of talented collaborators to ensure it’s a musical journey fans won’t soon forget.

One of the most exciting partnerships on the album is with none other than Cardi B, who joins Shakira on the opening track titled “Puntería.” Rumors of this collaboration had been swirling for months, and fans can finally rejoice knowing that it’s indeed happening. But that’s not all—Shakira has also enlisted the Tejano group Grupo Frontera, as well as the renowned DJ Tiësto, to lend their talents to the project.

In addition to these fresh collaborations, the album features several previously released hits, including chart-toppers with Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, and more. And for those vinyl enthusiasts out there, there’s a special treat in store: a bonus track, “Puntería (Vinyl Version/Spanish Version),” exclusively available on vinyl configurations.

The excitement surrounding this album has been building for quite some time, especially after fans caught wind of Shakira and Cardi B meeting for the first time at a fashion show in Paris last summer. Cardi herself couldn’t contain her excitement, calling the encounter “incredible” and praising Shakira as “amazing.”

For Shakira, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ represents more than just a musical endeavor—it’s a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and transformation. “Making this body of work has been an alchemical process,” she shared in a statement. “While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.”

With her last full-length LP, “El Dorado,” released in 2017, fans have been eagerly awaiting Shakira’s return to the spotlight. And with the promise of new music and a potential tour on the horizon, it seems like their patience is about to be rewarded. As Shakira herself puts it, “Life is so crazy, I would have never thought as a young kid that I would be meeting Shakira.” But here we are, eagerly anticipating what promises to be a spectacular comeback for one of music’s biggest stars.
