Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari have already earned accolades for their performances in Padmaavat and Bhoomi, respectively. Now, it’s time to bag trophies.
Shahid Kapoor, who played the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh in Padmaavat, is being honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award for ‘Brilliance in Acting’.
Shahid’s performance was loved by the audience and lauded by critics. This is going to be his first award for the role in the film.

Aditi Rao Hyadri enthralled everyone with her performance in Bhoomi, which has earned her a trophy. She will be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award Best Leading Lady (Critics Award).

Aditi played the role of Bhoomi and has received huge appreciation for her acting. Sanjay Dutt was also the part of the film and he played the father of Aditi. The story of the film was about a protective father who saved her daughter from evils that surrounded her.
Besides Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari, Anushka Sharma, Kriti Sanon, Ranveer Singh are being awarded for their respective performances. Anushka Sharma is being honoured for producing three films under home production Clean Slate Films.
Ranveer Singh won the award for his outstanding performance in Padmaavat, while Kriti Sanon won for her role in Bareilly Ki Barfi.
The winners will be felicitated by the Mumbai-based organisation on April 21.
