India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has inspired numerous cricketers with his cricketing heroics, though the humble sportsman carries much more than that under his sleeve.

Having bestowed with Bharat Ratna, Sachin is also a Rajya Sabha MP and had adopted a village Puttamraju Kandariga in Andhra Pradesh under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.

Since the adoption, Sachin has transformed the village with better infrastructure, water facilities, electricity, and educational institutions.

Adding to that, the 44-year-old cricketer is also taking care of villagers’ entertainment as he organised a special screening of his recently released film Sachin: A billion dreams for the people of Puttamraju Kandariga.

A special screening was held at Nellore on Thursday, where the people from Puttamraju Kandariga were taken via buses. As many as three buses were arranged for the transportation of the villagers.
