GoT Star Kit Harington opens up on mental health struggles
Kit Harington, famed for Game of Thrones, reveals his battles with mental health and alcoholism, emerging victorious on a path to sobriety and mindfulness.
To know or not to know is the dilemma with every Game of Thrones fan when it comes to the ending of the fantasy series. Same is the case with Kit Harington’s wife Rose Leslie, who played the role of Ygritte in the hit HBO show.
In an interview to KISS Breakfast, Harington, who plays Jon Snow, revealed that Rose asked him about the finale and then stopped talking to him for revealing it.
“I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days,” the actor said.

“It’s quite nice walking around, which will only happen for a few months before everyone’s seen it, knowing. I know and no-one else does. I know how it wraps up. Yeah, I think it’s gonna be groundbreaking,” he added.
When asked if he was happy with how the show’s ending, Kit said: “It’s a weird one to answer, that. I can’t really answer whether I’m happy or not.”
“I don’t think it’s about happy or sad really. I’m satisfied with what they did, but I don’t know whether I’ll be really satisfied until I see it,” he added.
Based on George RR Martin’s novels, Game of Thrones is about the thrilling quest to claim an Iron Throne in a fictional medieval universe. The engrossing high-fantasy tale is counted among the highest rated shows in television history.
The eighth season of the hit series will be out in April 2019. It airs in India on Star World.
