Rani Mukerji praises audience’s taste for diverse cinema

Filmmaker Ram Mukerji, father of actor Rani Mukerji, passed away on Sunday (October 22) early morning. He was 84.
The filmmaker was not keeping well since a long time.
According to sources close to the family, his blood pressure decreased drastically following which he was taken to a hospital. He was pronounced dead at around 5 am.

Ram had directed films like, Hum Hindustani and Leader, starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala.
He had also directed and produced Rani’s debut film, Biyer Phool in 1996.
The filmmaker will be cremated today.
