Akshay Kumar to make his Telugu debut with Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’
Doosukeltha' (2013) actor Manchu took to his official X page to share the news of Kumar joining 'Kannappa'.
Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna who shares her birthday with her father, legendary actor Rajesh Khanna, shared an old picture of the actor on his 75th birth anniversary.
Rajesh Khanna, who is considered the first superstar of the Hindi film industry, was one of the most celebrated stars of Indian cinema widely renowned for his quintessential romantic roles.
Remembering her father on 29 December, Twinkle shared a childhood memory of their birthday.

With a picture of Rajesh Khanna waving at his fans, the author wrote, “As a toddler, I was convinced that all the truckloads of flowers that would arrive for his birthday were actually for me… #nowandforever.”
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is married to Twinkle, too wrote a heartfelt note for the superstar. Much like everybody, the Gold actor was also fascinated by the stardom of Rajesh Khanna. Mentioning the same he thanked the latter for making him a part of his family.

“While growing up I’d heard fascinating tales of his superstardom, never imagining one day I’ll marry his fascinating daughter…thank you for giving me this precious one Happy birthday to both of you,” the actor wrote on Instagram.
Rajesh Khanna made his debut in 1966 with Akhri Khat. The actor gave 15 hit films consecutively at the beginning of his career setting a record which remains unbroken.
The Padma Bhushan winner died after a period bout of illness on 18 July 2012.
