Telugu actor Sri Reddy’s war with the casting couch in Tollywood has taken a new turn as the actor has lashed out at superstar Pawan Kalyan for not speaking on the same.

Reddy, who has accused some of the big shots of Tollywood of sexual harassment and casting couch, has opened a front with Kalyan, who didn’t bother to make a statement regarding the controversy.

According to a report in TOI, a furious Reddy was heard as saying: You, Pawan Kalyan, who is thrice-married and has no respect for women, how dare you give us suggestions on what to do… I once called you anna (brother), but I take that back today. From now on, no woman will call you ‘anna’.”

Apparently, the Telugu actor took to her social media handles to express her disgust that many of the A-Listers from the South were not even bothered to talk about the on-going controversy. Unbeknownst, Reddy’s rant about the actor didn’t go well with Kalyan’s huge fan base, who threatened her with rape and murder.

Nonetheless, unafraid of the threats she received, Reddy has asked Kalyan to control his fans or she will take the matter to the court.

“If he can’t stop them, I will take legal action against him, and not his fans. His fans have been abusing me on Facebook and Twitter and his silence is encouraging them.”

Days after her protest on the streets of Hyderabad, Kalyan had advised Reddy that she should have gone to the police instead of protesting in the streets.

After the shocking revelation of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, many women have come forward to reveal the exploitation of women in the film industry, where they are not provided with basic facilities and are harassed by some of the crew members.
