This is not only Post Malone’s debut solo performance in India but also his first time performing in the Northeast region. The event is coming together with the support of the Assam government, along with BookMyShow and Live Nation, both popular for creating large-scale international concerts.
The excitement around this announcement is already running high. Padmapani Bora, Director of the Assam Tourism Development Corporation, called Malone’s visit “a clear example of how fast India’s live entertainment scene is growing.”
He added that Assam is now a major destination for global acts, something that was once rare.
Echoing the same sentiment, Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer of Live Events at BookMyShow, said that Post Malone’s unique music style connects with millions of listeners across the world.
“To bring him exclusively to Guwahati is like opening a new chapter for live music in the Northeast,” he said.
