Anil Kapoor to play RAW Chief in YRF spy film starring Alia Bhatt
Anil Kapoor joins the cast of a YRF spy film, portraying the RAW Chief alongside Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.
Alia Bhatt who turned 25 on Thursday (March 15) celebrated her birthday on the sets of Brahmastra in Bulgaria. It was a working birthday for the charming actress. The cast and crew, especially the director of the film Ayan Mukherji, planned a cute surprise for Alia Bhatt.
The trio of Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherji, and Alia Bhatt has been in Bulgaria for over a month now.
In the pictures, we can see Ayan Mukherji with the birthday girl. While Alia’s co-star Ranbir Kapoor was missing from the celebration, his mother Neetu Kapoor was there. A video of Alia blowing the candles on her birthday cake had her glowing with happiness on her special day.

Neetu Kapoor and many fan pages uploaded the celebration pictures from the sets. Neetu shared a couple of photos on Instagram. The caption of the one with Alia in it read, “Birthday girl in her own world #brahmastra@aliaabhatt #ranbirkapoor.”
On Thursday, Alia shared stills on her Instagram handle from her upcoming film Raazi and introduced her character to the world. The actor also revealed the trailer release date of Raazi which is April 9.
Alia and Ranbir have been working on Brahmastra in Bulgaria as they are preparing for high-octane action sequences for the film. The film also cast Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. It is scheduled to release on August 15.
