Punjabi film veteran Nirmal Rishi honored with Padma Shri Award
Punjabi film icon Nirmal Rishi receives the Padma Shri award for her exceptional contributions to cinema, marking a milestone in her illustrious career.
After the first song “Announcement” set the tone of what is to follow, makers of Nikka Zaildar 3 launched the second track of the film’s album titled, “Subaah”.
A romantic Punjabi track featuring Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk and Punjabi actress Sonia Kour, “Subaah” is Virk’s sincere attempt to woo her.
Sung by Ammy Virk himself, the music video is shot in the heartland of Punjab.

The music of the track has been composed by Rick HRT and penned by Kaptaan.
Apart from Virk and Sonia, Nikka Zaildar 3 starrs Wamiqa Gabbi, Nirmal Rishi, Sardar Sohi, Gurmeet Sajan and Jagdeep Randhawa in pivotal roles.
Directed by Simerjit Singh, Nikka Zaildar 3 is a romantic comedy-drama cowritten with Jagdeep Sidhu, who helmed the first two installments of the franchise.
Nirmal Rashi’s character, who plays Ammy’s mother in the film, has been inspired by Jagdeep’s own great grandmother, Dilip Kaur.
The film revolves around the story of Nikka, who becomes possessed with his grandfather’s spirit after the latter dies, and the drama that ensues later.
Nikka Zaildar 3 is slated to release on 20 September 2019.
