Life doesn’t always follow a script. And sometimes, the most dramatic turns come after forty. That’s exactly what the upcoming Korean drama ‘Because There Is No Next Life’ sets out to explore.

TV CHOSUN has just dropped eye-catching posters for the new series, featuring its powerhouse trio Kim Hee Sun, Han Hye Jin, and Jin Seo Yeon.

The drama revolves around three 41-year-old women who find themselves at a crossroads. They are not lost teenagers or newlyweds but women who have lived, struggled, and loved; and now face the quiet storms of adulthood. Each of them decides to take a leap of faith and challenge their lives once more.

Kim Hee Sun plays Jo Na Jung. The character is a once-famous home shopping host who gave up her career to become a housewife. Now years later, she dreams of returning to the spotlight but finds herself torn between her ambitions and the reality of family life. Her story is about rediscovering purpose when the world has moved on.

Han Hye Jin steps into the role of Gu Joo Young, a polished and capable planning director at Korea’s leading art center. Outwardly perfect, her life hides a painful truth. She is struggling to conceive with her asexual husband. Behind her confident smile lies loneliness and frustration.

Jin Seo Yeon portrays Lee Il Li, a stylish associate editor who seems to have it all; fame, money, and power. Yet, what she desires most is something she doesn’t have: marriage. Her character adds a mix of wit and longing to the trio.

‘Because There Is No Next Life’ premieres on November 10, promising laughter, tears, and the beautiful chaos of living, because, truly, there is no next life.
