Dazzling victories as Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Rani Mukerji, and Karishma Tanna take the spotlight at the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, celebrating excellence in Indian cinema.
Rani Mukharji’s Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway clashed with Kapil Sharma’s Zwigato and it seems like super star Rani’s film is doing well at the box office. The overall numbers turned out to be 6.53 crore after it started off with 1.27 crore.
While the box office has seen a day-to-day increase in numbers for the Rani Mukherjee starrer, Zwigato did not perform well on its first two days earning just ₹ 1.05 crore India net.
Zwigato’s third day of box office collection was 0.75 crore India net whereas Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway on Sunday, grew further to three crore. This pretty much sets the stage for Monday collections to cross the 1-crore mark with ease though it would be interesting to see if it turns out to be more than that of Friday and Rani Mukharji will continue to beat Kapil Sharma.
If that turns out to be the case, then the rostrum would be set for the Rani Mukherji starrer to excel further and the actress will again hail in Bollywood.
