Prince Harry declares US home, renounces British residency
Prince Harry officially makes the United States his primary residence, renouncing ties to the UK royal family in a significant move.
After all the chaos over Meghan Markle’s father skipping the Royal wedding, popular wrestler John Cena joked that he is willing to walk her down the aisle. Reportedly, Markle’s father will skip her royal wedding with Prince Harry later this week due to heart surgery.
While co-hosting on “Today” with hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Tuesday, John Cena spoke about the wedding. After the hosts talked to royal correspondent Keir Simmons, he quipped that Cena’s intervention was needed. “Hey John — this wedding, we’re going to have the Royals, we’re going to have Diana’s family, the Spencers, now we’re going to have the Markle family. I think we may need you here, my man, to intervene,” Simmons said.
To which Cena replied, “It seems like there is some drama that is in need of a special guest referee.” Gifford intervened and said, “She is in need of someone to give her away, isn’t she? Who better than you?”

“I can hop on a plane, I can get there in a few days,” Cena said jokingly.
Thomas Markle had told US website TMZ he would not go for the wedding amid a row of paparazzi photographs. He then said he would go for his daughter’s Big Day, and then again said he cannot due to a planned heart procedure.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will exchange vows at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Saturday. The wedding will beam on live on Colors Infinity.
