‘Laavaan Phere’ going strong in week 2

Punjabi film industry is at an all time high with Punjabi films making a significant mark at the box office. Laavaan Phere, after having an exceptional week 1, is still going strong at box office in week 2.

According to reports, the film has collected more than Rs 8-crore worldwide in its first week and is now having a decent week 2. The official figures are yet to be reported.

Laavaan Phere opened to strong word of mouth not only in India but across the globe as well. The film’s humour and performance from the lead actors have been widely appreciated by critics and fans alike.

The film narrates the story of a young man who is unable to marry the love of his life because of comical complications created by his pompous brothers-in-law and angry to-be father-in-law.

Directed by Smeep Kang, the film stars Roshan Prince and Karamjit Anmol in the lead roles and was released worldwide on February 16, 2018.
