In a deeply disturbing detail, police confirmed that neither driver stopped to help. Both vehicles left the scene immediately after the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the drivers involved have not been identified.
Authorities have said the investigation is ongoing. The NYPD continues to look for information that could lead them to those responsible for the hit-and-run.
For many fans, Kianna Underwood is best remembered for her time on Nickelodeon. She appeared on the popular kids’ sketch comedy show ‘All That’ in 2005 featuring in seven episodes during its tenth season. The show was major part of Nickelodeon’s golden era and played big role in shaping young comedy talent.
Although her time on ‘All That’ was brief, it placed her in a show that helped launch famous careers including those of Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, and Amanda Bynes.
Before her on-screen appearances, Kianna had already made her mark as a voice actor. From 1999 to 2004, she voiced the character Fuschia Glover on ‘Little Bill’, the Nick Jr. animated series created by Bill Cosby.
Her voice became a familiar and comforting presence for preschool viewers during those years.
She also spent a year performing on the first national tour of the Broadway musical ‘Hairspray’. In the production, she played Little Inez, bringing her acting skills to live audiences across the world.
‘All That’ turned out to be Kianna Underwood’s last credited role in the entertainment industry. After stepping away from the spotlight, she largely stayed out of public attention.
