Punjabi music star Karan Aujla brought desi energy straight to American television when he joined Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’.
What made the moment unforgettable was the dance. Karan turned teacher, and Fallon became his eager student in a fun bhangra session.

The official Instagram handle of the show dropped a collaborative post featuring the duo, and it quickly grabbed attention worldwide.
In the video, Fallon greets Aujla with pure excitement, saying, “I can’t believe this. How are you?” To which Karan cheerfully replies, “Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. Good to see you.”
Fallon thanked the singer for being on the show, while Aujla was quick to compliment him, saying, “You’re looking good.” Fallon didn’t miss a beat and replied, “Look at you, you look fantastic. I wish I looked like this.”

But the highlight of the segment was when Karan suggested they try out some bhangra. Fallon looked unsure at first. And he admitted, “I’m not ready for this.” But Aujla reassured him, saying, “It’s easy, it’s easy.” With the music on, both of them started grooving.
Fallon gamely followed along, trying to match the moves. Aujla cheered him on. By the end, Fallon was fully into it, exclaiming, “Let’s go, man. That’s what I’m talking about!”
The post was captioned: “@karanaujla teaches Jimmy some bhangra! #KaranOnFallon #FallonTonight”.
For Aujla, this appearance is another milestone in his journey. The singer-songwriter began his career penning lyrics for Jassi Gill’s “Range” from the album ‘Replay’. Soon after, he collaborated with names like Deep Jandu and Elly Mangat before stepping into the spotlight himself.
In 2016, he released his first track as a lead artist, ‘Property of Punjab’, and also featured as a guest in several songs. His breakthrough came with hits like ‘Yaarian Ch Fikk’, ‘Unity’, ‘Alcohol 2’, and ‘Lafaafe’. But it was in 2018 that he truly became a household name with ‘Don’t Worry’, a song that entered the UK Asian Chart.
The momentum only grew stronger. In 2020, tracks like ‘Jhanjar’, ‘Red Eyes’, and ‘Kya Baat Aa’ all secured places in the top 10 of the UK Asian Chart, while ‘So Far’ went even higher, entering the top 5.
Meanwhile, Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’ has long been a platform for global artists. First launched in February 2014, it continues the NBC legacy as the seventh version of the franchise, with Fallon as its sixth host.
