Kapil Sharma seeks blessings at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine
Television superstar Kapil Sharma visited the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on Monday to seek blessings during the auspicious Navratri.
The controversy concerning Kapil Sharma and his show seems never-ending. The latest one erupted when show’s co-actor Ali Asgar made a statement after he went to meet Kapil Sharma.
While talking to ABP news, Ali Asgar said he went to meet Kapil Sharma on Preeti Simoes’ request. “I heard Kapil is in depression, I felt very bad. We all are with Kapil and will always be there for him. Preeti also called me that Kapil is not well and has apparently not even left his room for days. When I reached his office, Kapil was lying down. He was close to tears when he saw me and could not even speak. It is clear that he is missing all of us, especially Preeti. He is like a child who wants something but is not able to articulate it.”

Ali further added, “Kapil seemed like a child who wanted to say something but was unable to express it. I also found that he had written Preeti Simoes name in his hand.”
Denying his claims, Kapil Sharma’s official spokesperson said, “As a part of Kapil Sharma’s team, we would like to emphasise that recent stories doing the rounds that Sharma has met Ali Asgar and that he (Kapil) has written Preeti Simoes name on his hand are completely false.”
Kapil Sharma’s team further added, “We are equally shocked to hear about this ourselves and are surprised that Mr. Asgar, whom Mr. Sharma has always considered a friend, would make such hurtful statements. In fact, Mr. Sharma and his fiancee Ginni are currently travelling together. We request the media to reach out to us to ensure our views are represented and the truth is brought to light.”

After Kapil Sharma lashed out at journalist Vickey Lalwani, there has been too much talking about the comedian’s mental health. Talking about the controversies, Kapil had said, “The people who want my career destroyed can spread whatever lies they want. I am okay with it. I am not new to people piggy-backing on my success. Let them, as long as it gives them the satisfaction they want. I know what I am doing.”
