Recently, some chatter suggested that this equation with the media might indirectly influence Agastya’s early journey in the film industry.

Rumours around Agastya’s career

Agastya, who made his streaming debut with The Archies and is also part of the upcoming theatrical film Ikkis, and has been under the spotlight as he builds his footing in Bollywood.

While his talent hasn’t been widely questioned, whispers have circulated that Jaya Bachchan’s public friction with photographers could be affecting perception around him.

‘Destiny will decide’

Responding to the speculation, Jaya made her stance clear and confident. She said no external factor, including her own relationship with the media, can shape Agastya’s future.

According to her, if he is meant to succeed, nothing will stand in the way.

Drawing from past experience

Backing her point, Jaya referred to the career of her husband Amitabh Bachchan, who also had a complicated relationship with sections of the media at various points in his career.

Despite that phase, Amitabh went on to become one of Indian cinema’s biggest stars, something Jaya believes proves that media dynamics do not determine an actor’s destiny.

Agastya will build his own equation

Making her position even clearer, Jaya said Agastya will form his own relationship with the press over time and that her personal experiences should not be linked to his journey.

With the young actor still at an early stage of his career, all eyes remain on how he shapes his path in the industry, independently of the noise around him.
