The makers of the film also shared photographs from the first day of the shoot. Irrfan looks both healthy and happy with the energetic and ecstatic team. The actor is returning to work after almost a year.
One of the photographs showed Irrfan standing with the movie’s producer, Dinesh Vijan, and director Homi Adajania.
Angrezi Medium will also be shot in London, according to reports, since its subject revolves around “English Medium” schools.
Homi Adajania, who had made Cocktail in 2012, is helming the project which will tell the story of Irrfan’s daughter (all grown-up) who will go to London for higher studies.
While Kareena Kapoor Khan will play the female lead opposite Irrfan, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota actor Radhika Madaan will play their daughter.
