Joined by the film’s director, Dave Mullins, and producer, Brad Booker, Sean expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work on the project, which was inspired by his parents’ anti-war message in their 1971 song, “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).”
Despite being John and Yoko’s only child together, Sean also has a half-sister, Kyoko Chan Cox, from Yoko’s previous marriage, and a half-brother, Julian Charles John Lennon, from John’s first marriage. Together, Sean and Julian carry on their father’s legacy, commemorating his 80th birthday in 2020 with a special BBC Radio show.
Before the ceremony, Sean shared his thoughts on the upcoming Beatles movies, expressing a dream casting scenario involving Emma Stone playing his father, John Lennon.
