Tom Holland has finally spoken up about the buzz linking him to the next James Bond film. The young British actor, best known for playing Spider-Man, responded to the rumours in a recent conversation with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
While he didn’t confirm anything directly, Holland didn’t deny the possibility either.

“There’s speculation at the moment,” he said. “We’ll keep it to a minimum for now. We’ll get there one day.”
Tom Holland also admitted that playing James Bond would be a dream come true. “Dude, I mean every young British actor, it’s the pinnacle of working in our industry,” he shared. “I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive, you know. I could not have dreamed to have the career that I have.”
Talks about who will be the next James Bond have been ongoing ever since Daniel Craig stepped away from the role in 2021. Since then, fans and media have been guessing who might be the next 007. Along with Holland, names like Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson have also been floating around.
The upcoming Bond film is currently in the early stages of development. It is going to be a directorial of Denis Villeneuve, the filmmaker behind hits like ‘Dune’ and ‘Arrival’. The script credit goes to Steven Knight, known for ‘Peaky Blinders’. Producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman are also on board.
However, the film might not go into production any time soon. Villeneuve is still working on ‘Dune: Messiah’, the next part of his popular sci-fi saga. So fans may have to wait a bit longer for official updates.
In the meantime, Holland is keeping himself very busy. He is working on ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, which will be the fourth film in the current Spider-Man series. A sneak peek of the movie recently released, and it’s going to hit theatres on July 31, 2026. He’s also part of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film ‘The Odyssey’.
