Britney Spears is not holding back this time. The pop icon has fiercely responded to her ex-husband Kevin Federline for his shocking statements in soon-to-be-released memoir ‘You Thought You Knew’.

Reports suggest that Kevin’s book includes worrying remarks about Britney’s mental health and his fears for their two sons, Sean and Jayden. But Britney isn’t staying silent.

Taking to her X account (formerly Twitter), she shared a long emotional message slamming the accusations and expressing how deeply hurt she feels.

“To be loved unconditionally and with a naive heart like mine, always being threatened or made to believe I’m the bad one as they profit off my pain… Oh dear Jesus, show me there is a God and I can too be loved unconditionally,” she wrote.

In another part of her post, Britney questioned Kevin’s motives, suggesting that his memoir is an attempt to make money off her name. “I 100 percent beg to differ the way he is literally attacking me in his interviews. If truth be told, the man in the interview went straight to the source and said it clear as day… no money from Britney for five years, you trying to get paid. That’s what America is saying,” she wrote.

She didn’t stop there. The 42-year-old singer also pointed out that their sons are now adults and wondered why Kevin still seems so angry. “It’s a different world now… why is he so angry? And what’s scary is he’s convincing. The moments he stops before he cries. Are you serious?” she continued.

Britney also admitted that Kevin’s book might outsell hers, but said that true love doesn’t come from humiliation. “If you really love someone, you don’t help them by humiliating them,” she said.

In her closing note, Britney thanked her fans and hinted at a possible new creative venture. “People are never supposed to talk about controversy or shocking topics… I might even start my own radio podcast,” she teased.

She ended with gratitude, especially for celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, writing, “Thank you to the people supporting my heart right now. I know you guys understand it hurts. And Perez Hilton, you are absolutely adorable and you made my heart smile!”

Kevin Federline’s memoir ‘You Thought You Knew’ is going to release soon. It seems the drama between the former couple is far from over. But for Britney, one thing is clear. She’s ready to reclaim her voice no matter who tries to write her story.
