Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin also appear in the song.
In the film, Ranveer plays the role of an underdog rapper who becomes a sensation in the world of hip hop.
Ranveer Singh took to social media and wrote, “#ApnaTimeAayega OUT NOW ! @ritesh_sid #ZoyaAkhtar @FarOutAkhtar @excelmovies #TigerBaby @aliaa08 @SiddhantChturvD @kalkikanmani @ZeeMusicCompany @VivianDivine @ankurtewari @dubsharma #GullyBoy.”
Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment — Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film is scheduled to be released on 14 February 2019.
Ranveer Singh crossed ₹3,000 crore across the globe and called 'Dhurandhar' the biggest Indian film ever made. Japan wasn't listening. Fewer than 900 people turned up on day one.
When the teaser for YRF ’s Alpha first dropped, the public response was overwhelmingly underwhelming. Audiences widely questioned the casting choice of Alia Bhatt and noted that Bobby Deol’s Haryanvi accent felt jarringly out of place.
Two films, two very different bets, and one big question hanging over Alia Bhatt's career. 'Jigra' came with high hopes and left with a box office disaster despite its hefty budget. Now 'Alpha' steps in with an entire franchise behind it.
