The fantasy drama Game of Thrones is coming to an end and it’s an emotional phase for both the cast and the fans. The final chapter of the HBO series which had a successful run for eight seasons will begin on 14 April.

During an appearance on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, Kit Harington, who is known for his role as Jon Snow, revealed that he kept the statue of Snow from the latest teaser.

“I kept that statue. You know – the one in the crypt. I kept it; they sent it to my house. So, I’ve got it in my shed. How sad is that? I was the only one who kept their statue that’s how narcissistic I am,” Harington said.

“I’m going to turn it into a water feature I think,” Harington added.

The recent teaser of Game of Thrones depicts the underground crypt of Winterfell, with Sansa Stark, Arya Stark and Jon Snow facing their own statues as frost approaches through the tunnels.

Speaking of the last season of the popular show, the actor said, “I’m so excited for people to see it. I think it’s going to be extraordinary, hopefully, it’ll change TV again like it did originally, and break boundaries. I think it might.”

Based on George RR Martin’s novels, Game of Thrones is about the thrilling quest to claim an Iron Throne in a fictional medieval universe. The engrossing high-fantasy tale is counted among the highest rated shows in television history.

The final season of Game of Thrones will be aired in April on Star World.
