A superstar in every sense, Mahesh Babu is one actor who not only has the audience impressed with his acting skills but also sets an example with his calm persona.

In a recent interview with Vogue India, the actor opened up about what according to him is the reason that he became a star.

Southern superstar, Mahesh Babu, fondly recalled that as a child he would regularly spend his summer holidays in Ooty along with his family. His father who was a megastar as well would shoot for a number of songs during those months.

During one such time, the actor’s father( Krishna) asked him to be a part of one of those films as a child actor and Mahesh ecstatically agreed. “Every summer I would do a film in those two months. My only training was the way my father made those films with me when I was a child star. It couldn’t have been done more beautifully.” shared the 44-year-old.

It was in the year 1999 that the actor made his official debut with the film Raja Kumarudu, which won him the State Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. This film also garnered much love from the audience and earned him the title of ‘Prince of Tollywood’.

“I haven’t seen a more disciplined and dedicated person. He doesn’t settle for less. And he can balance work-life very well” added his wife Namrata who also happens to be his manager while talking about the actor’s work-life balance.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu’s 26th film Sarileru Neekevvaru is slated to release on Sankranti 2020 and fans are looking forward to watching the actor on the silver screen.
