Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga challenge: Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao share their love stories

With just three days left for an unusual love story to unfold on the silver screen, the makers of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga have come up with an interesting way to promote Shelly Chopra Dhar’s film. Ahead of the release, they have come up with “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga challenge”, asking Bollywood celebrities to share their love stories on social media using the tag and letting people know how it felt when they first met their love.

Anil Kapoor, who plays lead actress Sonam Kapoor’s father in the film, started off the challenge by posting a photograph with his wife Sunita Kapoor. He opened up on the love of his life and said, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga jaise strong, loving, boss lady… #SunitaKapoor my lifeline, my heart, my home!” He further nominated Rajkummar Rao, Arjun Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, and Varun Dhawan.

Accepting the challenge, Rajkummar Rao shared a picture with his ladylove Paatralekha. He captioned the picture as, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga ki she is strong,beautiful,talented,humble & loving! @Patralekhaa9 Thank u @AnilKapoor sir for tagging me. Share ur stories of the special woman in your life..#LetLoveBe..” Rao nominated actors Ranveer Singh, Abhishek Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.


Riteish Deshmukh, who was challenged by Anil Kapoor, shared a picture with Genelia D’Souza and wrote, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga Jaise best friends, made for each other, dil dhak dhak forever. This has been my story for the last 17 years & counting @geneliad.”

Following the bandwagon, AndhaDhun actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a picture with wife Tahira Kashyap. He has been giving people major relationship goals by standing strong with his wife who was detected with cancer last year. He wrote, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga For me @tahira_k is the biggest inspiration. She’s smart, selfless and sexy.” He further nominated Aparshakti, Rochak and Nitesh Tiwari to take up the challenge.


The tag line of the film reads “Let Love Be’. The film features Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla among others. It is all set to release on February 1, 2019.
