Ed Sheeran, the renowned singer-songwriter, has been making waves in India during his current tour, charming fans and delving into the country’s vibrant culture. Touching down in Mumbai as part of his +-=/x Tour (Mathematics), Ed shared his admiration for bollywood, Indian cinema, singling out the blockbuster hit “RRR” as a particular favorite.
Directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the film has earned international acclaim, with its song “Naatu Naatu” even clinching prestigious awards like the Oscar and Golden Globe.
During a candid interview, Sheeran couldn’t contain his enthusiasm for India, expressing his love for the warmth and energy of the Indian audience. “I really feel the love here, in India,” he remarked. “It’s incredible to perform in a country where the excitement is palpable. Unlike some places where audiences can be reserved, here, people are so vibrant and engaged. It’s infectious!”
