Kareena hails Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ as ‘Divine’

Diljit Dosanjh’s Shadaa has been in news ever since its trailer was launched. Taking forward his love for Kylie Jenner in the film, Diljit seems to be experimenting with everything under the sun.
Shadaa‘s latest song, ‘Tommy’, features the much loved Punjabi film industry actor Sonam Bajwa. The song is about Tommy Hilfiger jeans. Complimenting Sonam for her lean body, Diljit can be seen grooving to the track sung by Raj Ranjodh. He says that Tommy’s jeans are made for the “waist of a woman like her”.
Shadaa‘s first song from the album that created an uproar on social media, is the Bachelor anthem titled, “Shadaa”. In the song, Diljit’s look is inspired by Punjabi heartthrob singer Malkit Singh.

The second song from the album is a soothing Punjabi number starring Neeru Bajwa and Diljit, titled Mehndi, a pre-wedding number which was shot innovatively.
Shadaa is directed by Qismat fame director Jagdeep Sidhu and has Neeru Bajwa playing Diljit’s love interest. Sonam Bajwa will, perhaps, do a cameo in the film.
Sonam’s last project was Muklawa, alongside Ammy Virk, that is having a successful run at the box office.

The film revolves around a bachelor, “Shadaa”- a man past the eligible age of marriage, and how he finds or doesn’t find his match and whether he decides to get married or remain a bachelor forever. Neeru Bajwa, the shadi (opposite of Shadaa) plays his love interest.
Shadaa, produced by Atul Bhalla, Amit Bhalla, Anurag Singh, Aman Gill and Pawan Gill, is slated to release on 21 June 2019.
