Aashiqui 3 production comes to a halt as T-Series denies involvement. Fans left disappointed as anticipated film faces setback.
Aamir Khan Productions and T-Series have teamed up together to release a biopic on music mogul Gulshan Kumar around Christmas in 2019. The shooting for the same will begin in early 2019.
The film will be directed and written by Subhash Kapoor who directed Jolly LLB. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “BIG NEWS… Aamir Khan Productions and T-Series to release Gulshan Kumar biopic in Christmas 2019… Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor… Filming to begin early next year.”
The biopic on Gulshan Kumar was announced by T-Series sometimes back. It was titled ‘Mogul: The Gulshan Kumar story’ but since then there had been no development on the project. And Akshay Kumar was roped in for the project. He even revealed the look of the film.
Now, Aamir Khan has stepped in as a co-producer of the film. It is unlikely that Aamir would be acting in it. The cast of the film has not yet been announced by the makers.
