About the Coldplay concert couple: A Coldplay concert in Massachusetts has unexpectedly become the center of social media gossip, not because of the music, but because of an awkward kiss cam moment that took a viral turn.

It all happened Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, where thousands of fans gathered for the band’s latest tour stop.

During the Coldplay concert, the stadium’s jumbotron zoomed in on a couple embracing during the kiss cam segment. But instead of going in for a sweet kiss like most couples would, this pair immediately pulled away from each other; visibly flustered, trying to get out of the camera’s view.

Chris Martin, Coldplay’s frontman, didn’t let the moment slide. With his trademark mix of charm and humor, he playfully addressed the crowd: “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy,” he quipped.

The audience laughed.

That one-liner would have been forgotten in most cases, but not this time. A fan recorded the moment and shared it on TikTok, where it exploded, amassing more than 27 million views in just a couple of days.

The video became instant viral fodder, with thousands of comments speculating about the couple’s reaction.

Enter the internet detectives.

Before long, online sleuths claimed to have identified the two people in the video. According to speculation circulating across social media platforms, the man is said to be Andy Byron, CEO of cybersecurity startup Astronomer, and the woman is allegedly Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer.

Both are top executives at the New York-based tech firm. According to their LinkedIn profiles and company records, they have worked together for years.

Neither Byron nor Cabot has commented publicly on the incident, and neither has Astronomer.

Naturally, the internet had a field day with the unfolding situation. Memes, jokes, and conspiracy theories quickly flooded platforms like TikTok, Twitter, and Reddit.

Some users poked fun at how powerful the Coldplay kiss cam has apparently become. Others debated whether the moment really meant what people assumed.

Many pointed out that the couple could have simply been caught off guard, not necessarily hiding an affair.
