Congress accuses Kangana of not helping people of Himachal during calamity

Another celebrity name has been added to the accused list in Thane CDR scam. Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut’s name has cropped up during the investigation in the call data record case.
The actress is said to have messaged actor Hrithik Roshan’s number to lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, and it is being investigated if the lawyer had sourced Hrithik’s CDR as well.
Responding to the accusations, Kangana Ranaut said in a statement, “When we respond to a notice, we give all details to the lawyer. To assume that these details were used to violate the law and make statements based on that assumption and defame an artist is super lame on Abhishek Trimukhe’s part. A proper investigation should be carried out before making assumptions.”

On 16 March, the Crime Branch of Thane police arrested Mumbai-based lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui for allegedly illegally obtaining call detail records (CDR) from private detectives.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui was also accused of snooping on his wife. After Nawazuddin expressed disgust over the accusation and called them ‘random allegations’, his wife came out in his support.
