Why does Raghav Chadha want Parineeti Chopra to say he’ll never be PM?

After six weeks of non-stop fun, ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ has returned with a brand-new episode. And, this time it features actor Parineeti Chopra and her husband, Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha.

The episode began with Parineeti and Raghav entering the stage hand in hand. But within seconds, all eyes turned to Raghav’s bare feet. Host Kapil Sharma couldn’t help but poke fun at it. He asked, “Did you always dream of coming to my show barefoot after marriage?”

Raghav responded with a smile and a cheeky answer: “My shoes got stolen.” That’s when Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, dressed in their hilarious characters Mona and Sona, walked in holding Raghav’s shoes. They demanded money in return, recreating the classic “joota churaai” tradition.

The fun continued when Parineeti shared a sweet memory from the early days of their relationship. She said they first met in London. After meeting him, she was so intrigued that she actually went on to google his height! This led to more teasing from Raghav.

In a playful tone, Raghav shared, “Whatever she says, the opposite happens. She once said, ‘I will never ever marry a politician,’ and now look, she married one. So now every morning I wake her up and say, ‘You say it: Raghav Chadha will never ever become the Prime Minister of India.’”

Parineeti and Raghav got married on September 24, 2023, in a ceremony held at The Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Their wedding hosted close family, friends, and some big names from both Bollywood and politics.

Parineeti last appeared in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ alongside singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Meanwhile, Raghav Chadha continues his work in politics.
