The ad gave a clear hint that the two were going to take their relationship to the next level. And within a couple of months, in December 2017, the actor and the cricketer tied the knot in Italy.

On Monday, a sequel to the same advertisement was shared by actress Anushka Sharma on her Twitter handle.
The new Manyavar ad begins with text written, ‘One year later’, and shows the celebrity couple attending another wedding. They are telling the couple about the cons of taking the next step, which is wedding, and finally amid the warnings they realise that the best part of the vows of marriage are the little things that couples do for each other and the bond of staying together.

The advertisement has been directed by Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan and filmmaker Karan Johar praised the commercial and took to social media and wrote, “Lovely ad Shashank! And Virat is such a good actor!!!! Anushka and him sparkle in the ad!”
