URI: The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam got off to a flying start at the Box Office receiving positive responses from the celebrities and audiences.
A special screening was held by the lead actors for B-town celebrities on Saturday. Those in attendance included Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Priya Prakash Varrier, Varun Dhawan, Angad Bedi with wife Neha Dhupia, and others.
Friendships, love and bromance are also part of tinsel town, and that was quite visible yesterday at URI screening between Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh.
Ranveer did an extra move and expressed how much he admires Vicky and his work.
The video in which Ranveer, Rohit Shetty, and Varun Dhawan are seen giving ‘jaadu ki jhappi’ to the URI actor Vicky and praising him, again and again, is going viral.
The Simmba actor is seen saying, “Yeh sabse sakht launda hai.”
Then Vicky asked everyone including Ranveer, Varun, Rohit and Katrina to do the ‘How’s the Josh – High Sir’ drill and hugged Ranveer before planting a kiss on his cheek.
Vicky took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “VISFOTAK JOSH!!!” Here is the video:

This is not the first time we have seen Bollywood celebs praising Vicky Kaushal for URI. While returning from New Delhi after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tinsel town celebs were seen promoting Vicky Kaushal’s film in the flight.
URI: The Surgical Strike is based on the 2016 surgical strike conducted by Indian Army special forces on Pakistani terrorist camps across the LoC. The film is produced by RSVP movies and directed by Aditya Dhar. The film has Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
