Preity Zinta makes comeback in ‘Lahore 1947’ with Sunny Deol
Preity Zinta returns to the silver screen alongside Sunny Deol in 'Lahore 1947', marking a significant Bollywood comeback.
2018 has been a pretty good year for Bollywood so far. Numerous films have performed exceptionally well at the box office with over five films crossing the Rs 100-crore mark. But all said and done, all the films released in the first half of 2018 were able to perform well by avoiding certain box office clashes. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case on August 15 as three films are set to clash at the box office.
After the official announcement of Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se‘s release date, the bout on August 15 has become even bigger. Akshay Kumar’s Gold and John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate are already scheduled for release on the I-Day.
YPD 3 starring Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol will be releasing on the Independence Day 2018. The makers of the film announced the official release date of the film by sharing numerous posters on the internet. The three different posters feature all the Deol family in a different avatar from the previous two films. Check out the posters;

With YPD 3‘s release date, things have become interesting. If reports are to go by, this will the first clash among three Bollywood biggies.
This year, we have seen how Bollywood as a united front came forward to support each other’s films by avoiding clash at the box office. Be it the case of Padmaavat and Pad Man or Pad Man and Aiyaary, we have seen filmmakers working towards the bigger goal of creating history at the box office.
But, the same can’t be said for Gold and Satyamev Jayate as both films narrate the story of patriotism and what better day to release the film than August 15.
Presented by Excel Entertainment, Gold features Akshay Kumar and debutante Mouni Roy in the lead roles, while Satyamev Jayate will feature Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee.
Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 reunites the lovely trio of the real life father and sons — Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby — and will be directed by Navaniat Singh.
