Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta on Tuesday shared an emotional video on Instagram, where she was seen crying and asking for help. In the video, Tanushree claimed she has been facing continuous harassment in her own home for the past 4 to 5 years.
Clearly shaken, she said, “Guys, I’m being harassed in my own home. I just called the cops. The police came and asked me to come to the station to file a complaint. I might go tomorrow or the day after. I’m not well. I’ve been harassed for so many years now, my health is also suffering.”

The actress added that she is dealing with a very tough situation that has made her daily life miserable. She explained that she feels unsafe even in her own house and can’t trust anyone, not even the people she hires to help her.
According to her, strangers and “planted maids” have entered her life, causing chaos. She accused them of stealing from her and creating stress that has affected her physically and mentally.
“I can’t even keep a maid because every time I do, something goes wrong. Things are stolen, or they act strangely. I have to manage everything on my own. My house is a mess, and I can’t work,” she said.
Tanushree first came into the headlines in 2018 when she made serious allegations against actor Nana Patekar, accusing him of misbehaving with her in 2008 on the set of the film ‘Horn Ok Pleasss’. Her story gave a major push to the #MeToo movement in India.
Nana Patekar, however, has always denied the accusations.
The actress is best known for her roles in films like ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’, ‘Dhol’, and ‘Bhagam Bhag’. Though she stepped away from the film industry for a while, she remained in the public eye due to her bold stand during the #MeToo movement.
