Actor Ranveer Singh’s energy and enthusiasm coupled with Rohit Shetty’s entertainment factor lend a roaring charm to the first look of Simmba, which is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Recently, he surprised everyone with his rugged performance as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat, and now will be seen performing high-octane action sequences in his upcoming film Simmba. Ranveer is excited to play a badass cop, as he will soon start his training for the same.

Ranveer took to his Instagram handle to post a picture with Rohit Shetty and the Simmba poster on the wall.

According to media reports, Ranveer and Rohit recently met at a filmmaker’s office for a four-hour narration after which the duo exchanged ideas with each other.

In the poster, Ranveer is dressed as a quirky policeman, sports a pair of tinted sunglasses and a hook-style mustache, and looks every bit of an entertainer that he is. The poster reveals that he will play Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba.

This will be the first time that Karan, Ranveer, and Rohit are collaborating for a film.

Currently, he is shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. After Gully Boy is wrapped up in April, he will start shooting for Simmba. He also has Kapil Dev’s biopic with Kabir Khan lined up after that.
