Ramayana trailer Twitter (X) review: Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ trailer dropped during Brahma Muhurat. It gave fans their first real look at Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The trailer leaned into the rivalry between Ayodhya and Lanka. It also toned down the CGI-heavy creature visuals from the teaser, which had drawn criticism earlier.
Now that the trailer is out, fans have taken to Twitter to share their honest opinions. Reactions are split. Some are impressed. Many are not.

Fan reactions
One user was unhappy with Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Rama. They wrote that they felt “this bunnyfication of Shri Ram Ji” did not sit right with them. The user added that Kapoor’s dialogue delivery still felt like it belonged in his earlier romantic roles.
Another fan felt the music was missing from the trailer. They pointed out that a trailer for a film this big should have given a stronger glimpse of the score composed by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. According to them, a powerful song or background score was noticeably absent.
A third user had a mixed take. They said Yash looked convincing as Ravana and called the VFX decent overall. But they felt some characters, especially Dasharatha, had visuals that looked overdone and unnatural. The asuras, in their opinion, looked outright bad. This user also expressed disappointment that the film is being split into two parts.
Another reaction was more critical of the film’s tone. The user said they had never felt this annoyed by a Ramayana trailer before. They worried that international audiences unfamiliar with the source material might mistake this version for the original Valmiki Ramayana.
A fifth user gave an outsider’s perspective. They felt trailer lacked enough to draw in new viewers.
