Bollywood’s action-packed life seems to have spilled off-screen into real danger. Superstar Ranveer Singh and director Rohit Shetty are reportedly being threatened by gangster Harry Boxer, a key associate of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The warning comes after the duo filed a police complaint. This move apparently did not sit well with the gang.
What are the chilling threats?
The menacing message sent to Ranveer Singh carried a terrifying claim. Not just him, but “even your next seven generations will not be able to harm us.”

The threat detailed intimate knowledge of their lives including their managers’ addresses, daily routines, family residences. The sender warned that if Ranveer and Rohit did not “mend their ways,” the managers could be targeted one by one.
Adding a sinister twist, the threat also claimed responsibility for a recent shooting incident linked to the seizure of Indian passports in Portugal.
Voice note links Harry Boxer to Rs 1 crore extortion
The Mumbai Crime Branch has traced a threatening WhatsApp voice note demanding Rs 1 crore from Ranveer Singh. Preliminary investigations suggest the voice belongs to Harry Boxer.
Officials say the note was sent to Ranveer’s manager following a firing incident outside Rohit Shetty’s home.
The voice note, now sent for forensic examination, is part of ongoing efforts to collect further evidence.
Meanwhile, Ranveer’s security arrangements have reportedly been beefed up as a precaution.
Investigators revealed that a VPN network was used to send the message. Current traces point to a foreign country, prompting authorities to seek Interpol’s help to track the source.
Officials are trying to identify which country’s VPN network was active at the time.
The Crime Branch has also recorded statements from the managers of actor Aayush Sharma and superstar Salman Khan’s brother-in-law in related investigations.
